About Us

Jenelle Pattern, Owner

I have loved animals from a young age and always aspired to be a veterinarian. As I grew up and realized that wasn’t for me, I refocussed my career and achieved a Bachelors of Environmental Studies with a Major in Wildlife Management. I have a unique background working on the Peregrine Falcon recovery program in Manitoba and have worked at mitigating the gull population using both hawks and falcons. While in University I developed my love for grooming and since then I have attained the title of Certified Intermediate Stylist Technician from the Canadian Professional Pet Stylists (CPPS) along with having a Certified Stylist Technician certificate. I am now working towards my level 2 certification. I have been an active member of the Professional Pet Groomers Association of Manitoba (PPGAM) since 2013. I have attended many educational seminars here in Winnipeg that were put on by the PPGAM. I have also travelled out of town for shows including SuperZoo in Las Vegas in 2013, Mastergroom Canada in Calgary in 2016 and Groom Expo in Hershey, Pennsylvania in 2017.

I own two CKC registered Finnish Lapphunds named Olli and Elara. Olli is a Canadian Champion, has the title of Canine Good Neighbour, and passed many obedience classes. Elara also has her Canadian Championship.

She has done many obedience and agility classes with Lily and loves to teach her new tricks.

Her favorite breed of dog to groom is Australian Shepherds and she hopes to have one one day. Any type of double coated dog is her specialty!

Hailey has loved animals from a very young age, starting with horses. She started taking lessons and volunteering at local stables at 14 years old, and is now a riding coach and competitor in the hunter/jumper discipline.

Hailey's love for dogs started when her family adopted a puppy. She played a very active role in training Tucker and brought him to the doggy daycare she worked at for several years.

Now, a few years later, she is thrilled to be back in the dog industry. She recently added a mini longhaired dachshund, Isla, to her family. Hailey plans on showing Isla in conformation and trying out some dog sports.
